Last year: 10-11, lost in first round of Class LL tournament

Key losses: Juliana Houldcroft, Alex Marques, Jalen Middlebrooks

Key returnees: Stasha Greenalch sr. G/F, Kayla Guest sr. F, Ashleigh Beauford sr. G/F, Alicia Greenalch sr. G, Stephanie Kowalski sr. F, Carolyn Wawrzynowski sr. F.

Indians’ Outlook: Bangs has an extensive background on the way to taking the job at his alma mater, particularly under Duane Witter with the Farmington boys. He’ll need some help leading the team, however, with so many key players having departed. Bangs will use the early part of the season to continue to figure out the best schemes to use with this team, but he already knows he has a force down low in Guest and an all-around player on the wing in Stasha Greenalch. Beauford will run the point, and she will have options to give the ball to. If the Indians can survive a brutal early schedule and the adjustment period, they could be tough to play in March
