Girls Basketball starts slow, wins big

Newington 52, Maloney 29: The Indians put on a defensive clinic, holding the Spartans to 29 points. Stasha Greenalch had 16 steals for Newington while adding 20 points. Newington (8-5) also controlled the boards, getting 11 rebounds from Kayla Guest and 10 by Ashleigh Beauford. Guest also poured in 19 points as Newington continued its impressive run of play.
