2026-2027 Winter Tryout Information

Winter 2026/2027 Sideline Cheer Tryouts will be held Thursday 12/3 and Friday 12/4, 2026.

Eligibility:

1. Student-athletes must have passed FIVE (5) classes that meet every day during the first quarter.

2. An updated physical must be on file with the nurse's office dated on or after October 30th, 2025. 

Registration: 

All students must complete the following registration steps by November 24th, 2026 to participate in Winter tryouts.

2. Hand in an updated physical is on file with the NHS Nurse's Office

3. Participation Fee turned in to the Athletic Office. $115 check made payable to: Newington Athletic Fund
